A Louisiana man is facing charges after an incident that occurred Wednesday night, at the Econo Lodge in downtown Zanesville. Police say that officers responded to the scene at around 10:20 PM.
Thirty-two-year-old Robbie V. Crawford faces charges of Aggravated Menacing, as well as weapons related charges for allegedly carrying and firing a handgun. Upon investigation, officials believe that Crawford fired the weapon from the second-floor balcony of the Motel, following an altercation with a woman.
After arresting Crawford, police say they found him in possession of property allegedly stolen from a nearby vehicle. As a result, he has also been charged with Receiving Stolen Property. Crawford was expected to appear in Zanesville Municipal Court, Friday.
