Officials with the Zanesville Police Department continue to protect the identity of a deceased male discovered beneath the Main Street span of the Y-Bridge. Police are working to contact members of the victim’s family. He was in his mid twenties, officials say.

The Franklin County Coroner's Office is performing an autopsy on the victim. Zanesville police say that preliminary investigations turned up no signs of foul play, and the man may have been staying under the bridge when he fell into the river.
