The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident, which occurred just before 1:00 AM, Friday. The department says that 36-year-old Trevor Carson was shot multiple times in the back, and was taken to a Columbus hospital where he was listed in serious condition. As of Friday, officials said his wounds did not appear to be life threatening.
The shooting took place at 5971 National Road, Lot #1, in Zanesville. A suspect in the incident, 40-year-old Scott Harris, of the Zanesville area, has been named by the sheriff’s office. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Muskingum County Sheriffs Office at 740-452-3637 Ext 148.
