H1N1 Vaccination Clinic Set for Priority Groups

Public health continues to track flu illnesses in order to take necessary steps to prevent and control the spread of H1N1 and seasonal influenza.

205 N. 7th Street, Zanesville

5:00pm – 7:00pm or while supplies last Due to limited vaccine availability, this clinic is focused on priority groups as recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The clinic listed above is open ONLY to:
• Medical care workers and emergency medical service workers (technicians, paramedics)
• People who live with or care for infants under the age of 6 months
• Children 6 months through 9 years
• Individuals 10 years through 24 years with medical conditions that put them at higher risk for influenzarelated complications
• Individuals with asthma through 64 years of age

The vaccinations will be provided free of charge. Nasal spray will be provided to individuals in the above priority groups who have no medical contraindication.

MORE INFO: These priority groups have been identified by the CDC because they are more vulnerable to H1N1 and are at increased risk of severe complications. Additional clinics will be
offered for the other priority groups as soon as local public health receives additional vaccine. Public health continues to track flu illnesses in order to take necessary steps to prevent and control the spread of H1N1 and seasonal influenza.
